Equipment - update 12/06

(In 2001, I published and put online 3 pages of instructions for repairing the mode switch on Nikon Coolpix 950 cameras)

My equipment set-up is fairly basic.  I now use a Canon EOS-30D 8.2 MP digital camera in RAW capture mode for most of my shooting.

For lenses I use a Canon EF 18-55mm f/3.5, Canon 17-40 L, Canon 50mm f/1.8 II, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS, Sigma 20mm f/1.8(for aurora).

My tripods consist of a very large Bogen w/Manfrotto head (see photo below) which I use with the homebuilt barndoor tracker.  I also use a smaller Bogen/Manfrotto combo tripod.

For downloading/processing I use Zoombrowser(Canon), Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Picture Window Pro, Phase One Capture One LE, NeatImage (noise reduction) (and whatever else I can find if it need it).

I use Qimage software for printing, either to my Epson 820 or outside lab.
